Connecting with others in small groups is an essential part of sustained spiritual growth. Community Groups are an important part of our discipleship strategy. In a Community Group, people study God’s word together, discuss the issues and challenges of life, and identify and carry out a practical mission area specific to that group. These groups are a safe place to pray, care for one another, and impact their area of mission for Christ.
Practically speaking, it’s not possible for our pastors and staff to personally minister to everyone who attends our church. That’s another reason Community Groups are so important. They help us minister effectively and make it possible for everyone that attends Horizons to receive personal care.
